WOW! What a love story!
#LollyDee17 – I set my eyes on Damola in admiration for the first time in 2011 on campus as we were in the same Uni.
But I came in close contact with him shortly after and was dispelled by his bluntness in expression and seeming arrogance. I was in my sophomore year studying Accounting while he was a final year Law student.
Fast-forward, his friend was always telling me that I will get married to his friend- Damola, which I always greeted with disdain. As time went by, I found myself dating this boy sometime in 2012, (I don’t know how he did it) and our relationship had barely lasted 3 months when he called one evening in July 2012 to say he could not continue because ‘I was too good for him at this point of his life” that he needed 2 years more (to flex) and that he’ll be back. Honestly, I told myself that this guy is a joker, so I go dey wait for you abi? I was deeply hurt but I let go and decided not to date any guy for the time being.
Lo and behold, 2 years after, precisely on the 6th of June 2014, Damola came back saying he was sorry and that we should give it another shot that this will be marriage-bound. He stayed true to his words as almost always and in a month, he took me to his folks, put a ring on it a year after and his parents met mine on my birthday in 2016.
The rest is history! We are getting married on the 3rd and 4th of February 2017 #LollyDee17 💙 @damolakoya and @lollysparkles
